Team Switzerland: Vampire or Werewolf

vs.

Are you

Team Vampires

or

Team Werewolves?

~*~

I

AM

TEAM SWITZERLAND.

~*~

Not fair, that I'm not picking, eh? Well personally I like them both, but if you give me a heroine then I have no problem playing matchmaker.

Like when it comes to Bella from Twilight, then I choose Vampire - Edward.

As for Elizabeth of Pride and Prejudice, I say Vampire - Mr Darcy.

And if it comes to Alexia from Soulless, then definitely Werewolf - Lord Maccon.

And for Jane of Jane Eyre, I say Werewolf - Mr Rochester.

What match-ups in classic literature can you dream up?

~*~

So, dear readers. What team are you on?

or are you with me -- Team Switzerland?

The hubby makes a strong point for the Werewolves. He says they can relate more to women because of the monthly thangggg ;-D

When it comes to Moira Rogers (aka Bree and Donna) two books, I want to read both!

Sanctuary Unbound
Description from author's site:
New England is ideal for vampire Adam Dubois. His cozy home in the Great North Woods reminds him of a happier time when werewolves and witches were stuff of legends, and he was a simple lumberjack.

Hiding from past failures has worked for over eighty years, but a life debt owed to the Red Rock alpha has forced him to leave his retreat--and come face to face with a woman who challenges and tempts him on every level.

Hiding secrets is a lonely business, and Cindy Shepherd is lonely with a capital L. Red Rock isn't exactly crawling with available men, but her interest in the mystery-shrouded new vampire in town seems mutual. After all, it's only sex--there's no danger he'll dig deep enough to unleash the demons of her past.

Casual flirtation turns deadly serious when Adam discovers that the vampire plaguing Red Rock is using his mistakes as a road map. When it comes to his life, he knows Cindy has his back. But in order to secure the future, they both must trust each other with more--even if it means sacrificing themselves to save everything they hold dear. (read excerpt)

A Safe Harbor
Description from author's site:
During the bite of the Great Depression, sole female dominant Joan Fuller struggles against the rise of cruelty among her alpha counterparts. The men tolerate her interference--until she breaks from the pack and allies with a witch and a vampire. Now the Boston alpha intends to bring them all forcibly back into the fold--and teach her a lesson she may not survive.

Seamus Whelan and his werewolf bootleggers intend to retire from smuggling and savor their fortune, but first they must do a favor for an old friend: escort some female wolves to safety. An easy job, if their leader wasn't a prim ex-debutante with enough power to challenge Seamus himself. Chance makes them allies; powerful need makes them lovers.

Together, they have the opportunity to build a sanctuary for their kind, but first they must free themselves from Joan's past, and the powerful man who would see her destroyed. (read excerpt)

I’m on Team Werewolf. Find out more.

While I love the vampires as well, I finally made a decision. After reading all 68 entries for this contest I'm convinced I'd love to meet Moira's werewolf, Seamus. He's a bootlegger but plans to reform. Who wouldn't want to share his spoils?

Consider this for women who may turn...

Werewolf Common Sense 10
by L.H. Parker
Research suggests that females dominate in nearly all pack hierarchy decisions. With the looming threat of high mortality rates, males find themselves submitting in hopes of winning a mate or merely placating the female Alpha. The age of the dominate male werewolf is quickly coming to an end.
