* My first venture into this Playing Poetry game created by Shredded Cheddar. As I love Haiku, most of my entries will be such. Join in every Wednesday! details here

* this entry is pirate-themed in keeping with my current ...and a bottle o'rum event

  1. Love "perfidy" - just the sound of it, not the concept so much. It's featured in the fantabulous children's book "The Tale Of Despereaux" - no pirates there, but plenty of adventure!

  2. Awesome! Love it :)

This is great! =D We don't get funny ones as often as we should!

I'm so glad you decided to join us this month. =)

My poem is up now, too: W&Q 12

  4. Indeed, I agree with E that we normally have an overmuch melodrama. I like this. I like pirates. Particularly ones with a knack for answering existential questions with accusations of perfidious drunkenness. Well done, and glad to have you in the game.

    Or rather: Welcome aboard!

  5. Hooray! I'm no longer the greenest one playing the game!

I like your haiku and look forward to seeing more of them, though I lack Mssr. Balfour's preference for perfidious drunkenness.
