Description from the amazon:
Hit men Ray and Ken have been ordered to cool their heels in the storybook city of Bruges (it's in Belgium) after finishing a big job. But since hit men make the worst tourists, they soon find themselves in a life & death struggle of comic proportions against one very angry crime boss!
Amusing quote:
Ken: Coming up?
Ray: What's up there?
Ken: The view.
Ray: The view of what? The view of down here? I can see that down here.
Ken: Ray, you are about the worst tourist in the whole world.
Ray: Ken, I grew up in Dublin. I love Dublin. If I grew up on a farm, and was retarded, Bruges might impress me but I didn't, so it doesn't.

Note: Rated R for strong bloody violence, pervasive language and some drug use.
My two bits:
In a way this film is a travelogue. I fell in love with the various sights and ambiance of Bruges while watching this film. I was so affected by the fairy tale-ish quality of the film that I was inspired to create a fairy tale week with a Bruges theme.
The story itself is a dark comedy with lots of f-bombs. It and its derivatives are exclaimed 126 times. However, this juxtaposed alongside the charming Bruges creates a surreal setting which is best portrayed in the final scenes.
