I think Cinderella should stay in the kitchen, maybe bake some fresh bread... but the local seamstress shop sounds like the place to be.
Sounds like Cinderella loves the kitchen and should stay there as much as she can, just enjoying being there even if she can't help.

If I were Cinderella I would spend most of my time in the kitchen. I love to bake and cook as she does.

I would spend my time in the kitchen, too. Baking is the perfect way to deal with life's ups and downs.

I'd have to go with the kitchen as well. Seems like this is where she will find the most genuine, "true" people in the castle and where she can most easily be herself.

**What room in the castle would I prefer? Well, if there's a library, certainly in there!

Signed the guestbook, commented on Ms Argyle's blog, and, for the question... I might want to be in the kitchen! The bittersweet sentiment of missing the feel of dough is touching -- my wife loves to bake, so I can relate to the sentimental familiarity of such tactile tasks!
ReplyDeleteI'm so amazed at how many of you would spend time in the kitchen! That's definitely my room of choice. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love to enter the contest!!I've had my eye on this book for awhile, it looks so good!!
ReplyDeleteI'd pick the sewing room!! I love to create things, it takes me away from stress!
Thank you for the contest!! I signed the guestbook, commented on Michelle's blog (http://theinnocentflower.blogspot.com/2010/08/cinders-blog-book-tour.html) and read the story!

ReplyDeleteIf I was in her shoes, I'd say ditch the kitchen -- the library is where it's at! I love reading, and I'm sure that as a royal family they would have a nice (and probably humongous) assortment of books. Imagine the books you can find in there!
if i was her i wouldnt pick the kicthen id pick the libary because well i love books of course but seems to me she loves the kitchen cant wait to read this book

I'd pick the library in the castle. I always dream that libraries in castles would always be like the one in Beauty and the Beast!

If I were in Cinderella's shoes, I'd like to spend time in the royal library, reading fairy tales.

I would either like to spend time in the kitchen (I love baking)m or in the small chapel (there at least it would be quiet and peaceful) or out in the garden :-)
