A Study in Emerald by Neil Gaiman

A Study in Emerald
by Neil Gaiman

A mystery. Wasn't expeceting that. However, it was a very interesting one that incorporates Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes with H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu. What a mix, eh?

Only thing that I'm mystified about is the emerald connection. Apparently, the title is a reference to the Sherlock Holmes novel A Study in Scarlet which I have not read. ergh, must read this for clarification and I don't have Sherlock Holmes in the house. must go book shopping. okay slated for the next read-a-thon...

This story is part of Fragile Things (anthology)

  1. I've never read Gaiman's Sandman series, but I should get on it- I really like his other novels! Good luck reading!

  3. There were a lot of stories in this book that I really didn't like but this one I did enjoy.
