My thoughts:
-my weekly segment with a focus on the chicks
-for a great recap go to What's Alan Watching?
Betty - the "We Won" dancing around bit was so awkward to watch. She was so fake. What would a truly "happy" Betty look like?
Ahhh, Roma! She know eye-talian!?! and apparently very well according to the Italian men flirting with her or were they humoring her with their praise? Because, she really did not sound Italian. Where was the hand waving gestures and emotion when speaking. Maybe I'm stereotypical, but that's Italian.
OK, enough Betty bashing. I admit, Betty was so chic and stylish in this episode. Amazing hair updo. Great to see a bit more of her modeling herstory come into play.
Sally - mirrors her mom including the temperament
Joan - yay! we see her again. Again, she's in a managerial position which suits her. Is she gonna go back to Sterling Cooper? I wonder. I hope.
Peggy - no Peggy
Trudy - ever the trooper, the epitomy of the perfect young executive's wife
Quote that got me:
When you don't have any power, you have to delay things. - Betty

Mad Men Dresses Up Masculinity:
Few TV shows in recent memory has done more to affect how men dress than AMC's "Mad Men." Though the fashion set had been moving toward slimmer cuts, thinner ties and a more adult style, "Mad Men" offered a seductively masculine aesthetic anchored to a yearned-for era and a strong sartorial ethos.
