A bit about Jasmine...

Hi everybody! I'm Jasmine Becket-Griffith, the girl who paints all this stuff. I am a free-lance, self-employed artist. It is my full-time job, and I've been doing it since 1997. I'm 30 years old and I live in Celebration, Florida with my husband Matt. He works for me as my assistant, and processes & ships a lot of the orders, prints, etc. We have two cats - Mama Wolf and Tigrillo! read more about her here

  2. I love love love her works! And I watch every time the auctions on ebay of her original works. *_* Unfortunately they are too expensive for me...sigh T_T
    I love her steampunk alice works! I already got three of her beautiful prints and hope one day I'll be able to buy one of her original artwork!

  3. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!! I'd hoped this was coming! *jumps for joy*
    I love her artwork! I've seen it around the blogosphere before, and my favorite work of hers is definitely Madona with Child at Night. My top three from her whole gallery is Madona, Sewage Marmaid(excellent lighting!), Dino Friends II (love her eyes!). But I went with the Madona because of the Baby. I love to think that our Lord was just a little baby once, and His expression is so sweet! Plus, the sadness in Mary's eyes very meaningful as well. I know a lot of her charcaters have a sorta saddened or pained expression, but here it actually means something.

  6. Wow she has so many amazing pieces. I couldn't decide which is my favourite out of Mildew, La Fee Verte, Voodoo in blue, The Scarecrow and Absinthe Mermaid. All so pretty.

  9. Looking at the Steampunk Carousel is like imagining ourselves on a merry-go-round inside a clockwork mechanism that could actually be a time machine!

I can hardly pick a single favorite - but for this, I will! ;) Her entire Alice in Other Lands series is marvelous -- maybe my favorite of that series is Alice and Las Meninas -- so clever!

  14. Oh there are sooo many I love. SOooo much talent... I need to go shopping, lol

    I picked Mermaid Eclipes. I love the black and red colors and her eyes ensnare you. There were atleast 3 others I really liked Sea Beacon, A gathering of Faries & Fiona and the Unicorn. So much beauty..... enough said :)

  15. Anglerfish Submarine, Night Chariot and Bats in the Belfry are my favorites, but honestly they are all stunning!

    Wow - Jasmine's art is such a wildly beautiful blend of primitive fantasy & goth! She is an extremely talented artist!!

    Thanks for linking to her page, it was a true pleasure to peruse her works (going back there now to roam the gallery for a wee bit ~ lol)

  17. I looked over the website for about 3 times. There are too many beautiful drawings, but finally I remained stuck on 2 favorites: Angels of Highgate because I adore the angel's expression and Wolf Manor because I'm in love with all the details.
