I love love love her works! And I watch every time the auctions on ebay of her original works. *_* Unfortunately they are too expensive for me...sigh T_T
ReplyDeleteI love her steampunk alice works! I already got three of her beautiful prints and hope one day I'll be able to buy one of her original artwork!
Thank you for this great chance! :D
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!! I'd hoped this was coming! *jumps for joy*
ReplyDeleteI love her artwork! I've seen it around the blogosphere before, and my favorite work of hers is definitely Madona with Child at Night. My top three from her whole gallery is Madona, Sewage Marmaid(excellent lighting!), Dino Friends II (love her eyes!). But I went with the Madona because of the Baby. I love to think that our Lord was just a little baby once, and His expression is so sweet! Plus, the sadness in Mary's eyes very meaningful as well. I know a lot of her charcaters have a sorta saddened or pained expression, but here it actually means something.
Great contest, Velvet!
My favorite print is; "Golden Guardian"
ReplyDeleteI love Jasmine's artwork and have been drooling over her website for a long time, but there's one work that's been my favourite from the start and that's the Licorice Fairy!
ReplyDeleteWow she has so many amazing pieces. I couldn't decide which is my favourite out of Mildew, La Fee Verte, Voodoo in blue, The Scarecrow and Absinthe Mermaid. All so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe artwork is really stunning. The detail is just incredible. I like the nutcracker suite. I collect nutcrackers, and she really captures the story.

Looking at the Steampunk Carousel is like imagining ourselves on a merry-go-round inside a clockwork mechanism that could actually be a time machine!

I looked over the website for about 3 times. There are too many beautiful drawings, but finally I remained stuck on 2 favorites: Angels of Highgate because I adore the angel's expression and Wolf Manor because I'm in love with all the details.
