I love the concept of Alice in Wereland.
Why hasn't anyone written this yet?
I always thought Alice needed a sidekick, because the white rabbit was basically useless.
I see her with some kind of dog, maybe a red Chow Chow who looks soft and cuddly, but is actually incredibly protective, loyal and weary of strangers.
And if we're throwing weres into the mix, Alice should definitely have a love interest.
Her Chow Chow turns into hot, tawny-headed guy who helps her fight the Queen of Hearts.

Awesome! It sounds like a creepy book!
ReplyDeleteNow, this is what the book was meant to be about.
ReplyDeleteWorthy of being a classic to be loved and treasured by generations of children!
^_^
I love all things "Alice" but what holds me back from using her as a character is the happy childhood memories she evokes. I just can't mesh that with my erotic writing, lol. Her with a doggy sidekick is definitely intriguing though. :)
ReplyDeleteWish my mom's chow chow turned into a hunk... but never happened.
ReplyDeletegive her a black Chow Chow that turns into a raven haired man and you got yourself a story!
ReplyDeleteA Chow Chow love interest? I'm not seeing it... Maybe if it was a wereboar..
ReplyDeleteI'm with Sharon above, as I have this *thing* for raven haired men ;D
ReplyDelete[Ahem] ... SOME body ... [cough] ... [pointed glance towards our Ms. Viii] ... really OUGHT TO write Alice in Wereland!!!
HINT HINT HINT
;D
This sounds like a really interesting idea. I would definitely read this book. If only someone would write it.
ReplyDeleteI would put her with a were wolf or cat that turns into a hot guy!!!

I love the idea of Alice with a chowchow -- I'm agreed -- she needs something that appears very useless but is quite deadly! Either that, or something quintessentially English -- sheepdog?
ReplyDeleteI think a were-tiger would have a better chance against the Queen. I like the weredog too.

I love the idea of the Chow Chow! XD
ReplyDeleteI think a chow chow would fit perfectly with the story.
