a monthly saga
posted on the 7th of each month - until the narwal is found
details here
Captain Vix and crew sailed into the Aegean Sea and docked the Rusty Dagger at a coastal town of Kavala in Greece.
From their last adventure at the Adriatic Sea, Captain Vix obtained vital information from a tavern wench that the narwal was spotted at a town, Varna, on the coast of the Black Sea.
Captain Vix and her crew proceed by foot and by horse as the search continues for the narwal and stolen treasure...
The Black Sea is an inland sea bounded by Europe, Anatolia and the Caucasus and is ultimately connected to the Atlantic Ocean via the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas and various straits.

The Black Sea was a busy waterway on the crossroads of the ancient world: the Balkans to the West, the Eurasian steppes to the north, Caucasus and Central Asia to the East, Asia Minor and Mesopotamia to the south, and Greece to the south-west.
The oldest processed gold in the world, arguably left by Old Europeans, was found in Varna, and the Black Sea was supposedly sailed by the Argonauts. -per wikipedia
The pirates reach Varna in a few days time without incident.
As Captain Vix meets with Donka, the local gypsy, the crew explores the city.
arghhhhhhh!
shiver me...
and what am i to do with this lot? captain vix exclaims in frustration.
squaaaaaaaaaaaaawk goliath chimes in whilst fluttering his wings.
all i can says, is that you will know when you find the right one. donka replies sagely.
captain vix gathers up the maps and heads for the nearest tavern.
aye, this calls for a bit 'o rum.
cawwwwwwwww goliath responds.
with bottle in one hand and bundle 'o maps in t'other, captain vix sets herself down at a table.
she looks through each map carefully...
