with good intentions, however, challenge not completed

  1. This sounds like a challenge that I need to join! Astrid and Veronika is one of my favorite books. Per Petterson is an author I've always wanted to read. Have you read Out Stealing Horses by him? Thanks for cheering me on during the readathon!

  2. Excellent choices! You'll love them. Have you read In the Wake by Petterson? It's my fave with Out Stealing Horse. He's so subtle.

  3. I think I am going to have read these ones.....
    Margaret B

  4. I've been wanting to read Astrid and Veronika (and I still need to read Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. My fingers are itching for it, and I just don't have the time to justify it. Yet.) Yay, Pippi Longstocking!!!!! I wanted to be her when I was little (and Punky Brewster. I think if I could have combined the two...)
May I make a suggestion? (I'm going to anyway)

  5. have fun, what a cute cover on the Pippi Longstocking book!

  6. Yes, your going to read Pippi Longstocking!! Love that show on tv, it's called Pippi Langkousen here in Holland. Oh how I miss those old days. :)

  7. Pippi was one of my first reading friends -- so I re-visited her for one of my books during the read-a-thon. Sounds like a great challenge!
