Tales of an Urban Werewolf
by Karen MacInerney
Description from the amazon:
WILDLY INDEPENDENT, SHE’S NOT ONE FOR PACK MENTALITY.
On the outside, Sophie Garou is living every woman’s dream: she has beauty, brains, and a big-time position in Austin’s most respected accounting firm (not to mention a very sexy, very successful new boyfriend). But there’s one Sophie would rather keep under wraps: she is a werewolf.
Sophie’s life gets a little more hairy when her long-estranged father, Luc, arrives in the Live Music Capital to attend the werewolves’ annual Howl and reconnect with his daughter. But Luc’s plans fall apart after he’s accused of murder and arrested by his archrival, Wolfgang, leader of the Houston pack (and one notoriously dirty dog).
Wolfgang drools at the thought of Luc’s impending execution, but Sophie won’t let her father die without a fight. Determined to prove his innocence, she and her friends set out to find the real killer. Along the way, Sophie must deal with taboo attractions, Machiavellian intrigues, sinister agendas, and hair-raising betrayals.

I'm really not a follower, so I guess leader. Although I might have chosen lone wolf, if that were an option.

I prefer to be the leader of the pack or not in the pack at all.
ReplyDeleteThank you!

That depends a little on the type of pack. Happy friendly pack? I'll be happy to just blend in & go with it. Unhealthy pack? Well, obviously, there's something wrong so it's time to either change things or get out of there!
ReplyDeleteambience.of.rain {at} gmail.com
I'd try to just be in the pack, but I have a feeling I'd eventually become a leader - I don't take orders well if they don't make sense.
ReplyDeletejen@delux.com
I hate to make all the decisions, so I would have to say in the pack.
ReplyDeletebacchus76 at myself dot com
Hmm, I fall somewhere in between. I don't want to lead, but I don't want to follow.
ReplyDeleteThough I'd start out following, I'd probably end up leading or being kicked out for being too indecisive lol

I prefer to be the leader of the pack. I hate when someone tells me what to do, so it makes more sense for me to be the leader.
ReplyDeletepirate_pony2 at yahoo dot com
I am so not a leader...I hate to stand out...
ReplyDeletecfisher1504 at gmail.com
I would prefer to be in the pack.
ReplyDeleteSkk25@aol.com
I prefer to be in the pack but close to the head.

Do you prefer to be the leader of a pack or just in the pack?
ReplyDeleteLeader mostly because I generally don't like people telling me what to do.
I would prefer to be the leader but I would be happy with just being in the pack too.
ReplyDeleterae_reads@hotmail.com
I used to be more of a leader type, but I think now I'd be part of the pack.
ReplyDeletejuliecookies(at)gmail.com
i think i would rather just be in the pack...
ReplyDeletek_sunshine1977@yahoo.com
Just in the pack. Less responsibilities!
ReplyDeletemagabygc AT gmail DOT com
I'm definitely a lone wolf. So given the options I would have to say leader. Otherwise I wouldn't fare well not being the following orders kind of personality.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity! Indigo

I like the leader of the pack.
ReplyDeletelizzi0915 at aol dot com
I'm usually the leader, but sometimes it can feel nice not to be the one leading, but just following the others. Responsibility can be tiring.
ReplyDeletestella.exlibris (at) gmail (dot) com
Just in the pack. I find leading to be very exhausting. I prefer to follow.

Just in the pack.leader has too many responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteelaing8(at)netscape(dot)net
I have always been a follower. I don't want the responsibilities the leader of the pack would have to take on so I would have to be a follower.
ReplyDeletemisskallie2000 at yahoo dot com
Honestly, I think I might be both...?
ReplyDeleteI typically follow only because there isn't anything to prove. However, if I felt threatened in any way, I would strike back. Some with everyone, though, right?
Anyway, thanks for hosting all there cool contests!
Love, Hannah

Oh, leader definitely! I love this series and am currently only missing this book in my collection lol. Being a leader with a hunk at my side would rule!
ReplyDeletechicareader(at)gmail.com
I've always considered myself one of the pack though I often get accused of being the leader. To be perfectly honest I'd probably be the lone wolf.
ReplyDeleteeva.s.black[@]gmail[.]com
I'd be content just to be in the pack. Although theres a limit to how submissive i would be :)
ReplyDeleteholz_twilight@msn.com
I'd prefer to be just in the pack, but somehow I always end up as a leader.
ReplyDeleteI'd be just in the pack, although I wouldn't mind being second in command, That way I can give the leader advice.
ReplyDeleteentrelibros_blog at hotmail dot com
It depends on the situation and the kind of people you're with, but I would probably be the solitary wolf.
