Description from the amazon:
In the zombie-infested, post-apocalyptic America where Benny Imura lives, every teenager must find a job by the time they turn fifteen or get their rations cut in half.
Benny doesn't want to apprentice as a zombie hunter with his boring older brother Tom, but he has no choice. He expects a tedious job whacking zoms for cash, but what he gets is a vocation that will teach him what it means to be human.
My two-bits:
In-a-word(s):
I enjoyed this coming-of-age story in a zombocalyptic world. The character growth between Benny and his friends and Benny and his brother held my attention.

ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about this, but I've been a bit reluctant. Not sure if I'm zombie'd out or not. Your little review makes me want to try it, though... *grin*
ReplyDeleteI just got a hard cover copy of this in the mail - I love the trading cards on the inside
