Because I love this theme and I really didn't get to complete it from last year, parts of last year's challenge are being reanimated.

AND, I really am looking forward to the fifth season this year. So starting the hype and hoopla...

Whether or not you have watched the Mad Men TV series, the selection pool I have put together will give a snapshot of the 60's and Mad Men genre with a feminine slant. I also included some that were mentioned on the show.

TO DO (4 parts):

1. CREATE challenge acceptance blog post.

Please copy the challenge graphic and include it in your blog post with your book list. A tentative list is fine as I like getting book recommendations to add to my tbr pile ;-D

AND leave a comment linking back to your challenge acceptance post.

  2. I love Mad Men and I have read a number of the book on your list. Another one I would sugest to read is by Stephanie Coontz called, "A Strange Stirring - The Feminine Mystique and American Women at the Dawn of the 1960's". It really nails the female prospective of Mad Men.
