Guest: Lady Suzannah

Lady Suzannah Batlab of Samsung
Good evening, I am Lady Suzannah Batlab of Samsung.

I have known Mr Bingley since childhood and have been invited by Mr Bingley to attend the Pemberley Ball.

Lady Suzannah listened with rapt attention to Elizabeth retelling the amusing tale of Mr Darcy and a particular lake on the estate.

A burst of laughter erupted from the group of ladies.

Bit o'sip sip gossip...

Did you know...

Mr Darcy is a rather reserved, gentle duck. He likes to tip his hat and say, ‘good morning’.

Mr Darcy would never want to bother anybody. His life is a little lonely until he discovers that it’s okay to let his friends know he needs some help.

Alex Field’s great love of Jane Austen’s Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice inspired her to create Mr Darcy. Mr Darcy has all the great qualities of a gentle English aristocrat.

Peter Carnavas has created a gorgeous new look for the well-loved and much admired Mr Darcy.

~~- Pemberley Ball schedule -~~

  1. Mr. Darcy was never so well regarded before the swim. Perhaps it was the washing off of sweat and dust that has increased his acclaim? For what has he that another has not, though it be placed perhaps more appropriately? Many gentlemen have equal charms, though carried down about the waist.

  2. The Duchess tittered along with the rest of the ladies. Elizabeth was regailing the company with a witty rendition of Mr. Darcy's infamous swim that nearly had the group in tears!

Moments later, the handsome Mr. Wickham passed by the female assemblage. Almost immediately, the comely Lady Suzannah sniffed the air and innocently asked if Wickham fished for sport?

The Duchess, thinking of the spoiled shrimp languishing in the unsuspecting Wickham's pocket, nearly choked on her beverage but managed to politely confirm that yes, the good Mr. Wickham certainly *fished* for sport.

She couldn't wait to see what he'd *catch* from his midnight assignation ;D

  3. I love Mrs. Darcy's stories. They are so amusing, and I wish I could have seen the elegant Mr. Darcy, less formally attired.
    Lady Margaret

  4. Mi complimento, Lady Suzannah, for encouraging Signora Darcy to speak of her courtship. I wish to hear more- che bello amore,

But I am distracted by this little byplay the duchess has begun with l'odore di pisce. Shameful, but divertente.

  5. Oh my, I do fear I would have fainted at the sight of Mr Darcy dressed like that. But this I do not tell, instead I giggle behind my fan

  6. *chuckles * oh i love that guest name!
