Caught my fancy: Dragon's Golden Egg
I could not resist mentioning the golden egg which was part of the first task for the Triwizard Tournament.

My fascination with eggs in general came on after visiting a Fabergé exhibit years ago at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Eggs bedecked with jewels or scenes or pictures inside and around just intrigues me so.
fyi: As some of you know, I sometimes hold easter egg surprise giveaways during events.

We cannot sing above the ground,
And while you're searching, ponder this;
We've taken what you'll sorely miss,
An hour long you'll have to look,
And recover what we took,
But past an hour - the prospect's black,
Too late, it's gone, it won't come back.
—The song heard when the Golden egg is open under the water.

I loved the prefects bathroom. It would be so great to have a bath in that giant bath. It would be so relaxing.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that bathroom was pretty awesome. This is the only Harry Potter film I was a little disappointed in...it wasn't bad, I just had ridiculously high expectations for it
ReplyDeleteI liked the egg as well. The graveyard scene was good, but not as great as I imagine in my head=)
ReplyDeleteI liked the egg and I liked the whole idea of competition.. At first I was laughing at the fact that they had wands but it was really cool, because each one was personalized and it made sense that each wand was precious and important!
ReplyDeleteI think this must have been the funnier of the movies.
My favorite scene was in the water with the sharks.
ReplyDeleteThis one is my favorite movie. I love the dragon task.
ReplyDeleteRight now, with an aching shoulder, I keep thinking about that amazing bathtub (I would love a hot soak). I liked the different dragons, too!
ReplyDeleteWhen Voldemort colors in the dark mark, only because after my nephew watched this movie he pulls up his sleeve and shows everyone his forearm, especially after they show Voldemort on screen, lol.
ReplyDeleteDragons! I love them!*_*
ReplyDeleteEveryone beat me to it! I loved the egg, the dragons and the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteOmg Viii! You are SO lucky, I would've loved to see all the famous Faberge Eggs! (egg lover here, too!)(we used to blow them out, paint them, gild them - makes your cheeks hurt lol)
ReplyDeleteANYhoo - the egg. Definitely the egg! I think I've forgotten some of the finer details of the movie, so I'm kinda sketchy remembering what's what, except the action & swooping dragon lol
