Pemberley Ball: Dancers

While many dancers swirl, sashay and nod at each other, Miss Dunbar stands on the outskirts of the dance floor enjoying the merry movement and lively music. Little does she know that she is about to be approached by the dashing Mr. Wickham.

The encounter may or may not be of a good outcome, but methinks Miss Dunbar may not mind a nice quadrille with the handsome man in uniform.

From an earlier conversation, she had intimated the following regarding her rsvp...

As I have recently relieved myself of a most unfortunate engagement with a man of questionable motives a ball would be extremely diverting.

My aunt, Lady Helena Crowe, is accompanying me in the hopes that I meet an eligible gentleman. She was acquainted with Lady Anne Darcy and is most anxious that I be introduced to Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy.

Tempers ignite between Elizabeth and Darcy, but he’s irresistibly drawn to the stubborn and beautiful corps de ballet dancer. Could she be the muse he needs to reignite his passion for ballet?

  1. When paired with the right couple, Lady Vee enjoys a Quadrille. Such a wonderful way to converse with friends.

  2. I do so enjoy a nice Quadrille! I am certain Mr. Wickham will make a pleasant dance partner (although my Aunt is certain to keep a close eye on the situation.)

I must admit that I am excessively diverted by the Reel and a man with fine eyes in a kilt.

  3. My papa and my aunt would not countenance the waltz though I would adore to with the right gentleman so I shall choose the minuet.
