Roma (2018)
Director/Writer: Alfonso Cuarón
Stars: Yalitza Aparicio, Marina de Tavira, Diego Cortina Autrey
-Drama, Mexico | imdb | my rating: 5

A story that chronicles a year in the life of a middle-class family's maid in Mexico City in the early 1970s.

BEAUTIFUL film shot in black/white that captures the daily life and time period of a family.

Love Actually (2003)

-Comedy, Drama, Romance, Christmas | imdb | my rating: 5

Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England.

RE-watch with Christmas theme. Wonderful ensemble cast and scenarios to follow in this. Bill Nighy singing The Troggs' "Love Is All Around" is catchy.

Christmas With A View (2018)

Screenplay: David Finley, Rebecca Lamarche, Keith Cooper
Based on book by: Teresa Southwick
Stars: Kaitlyn Leeb, Scott Cavalheiro, Mark Ghanimé
-Drama, Romance, Christmas | imdb | my rating: 5

Secret aspirations between a failed restaurateur and a celebrity chef threaten their blossoming Christmas romance.

GREAT for the foodie element.

Christmas Wedding Planner (2017)

Based on book by: Stacy Connelly
Stars: Jocelyn Hudon, Stephen Huszar, Kelly Rutherford
-Romance, Christmas | imdb | my rating: 4

Everything is going smoothly until Connor McClane, a devilishly handsome private investigator, shows up and turns Kelsey's world upside-down. Hired by a secret source, Connor quickly disrupts the upcoming nuptials but wins Kelsey's heart in the process.

CUTE scenes with a spunky heroine.

White Christmas (1954)
Director: Michael Curtiz

-Comedy, Musical, Romance, Christmas | imdb | my rating: 5

RE-watch with Christmas theme. Love the singing and dancing.
