  1. Beating the summer blogger slump- what are your tricks?
Take breaks! Take time off to do something you've wanted to do. Keep busy, so when you do sit down to blog, you'll be refreshed and ready.

One thing you have to do every summer is...
Take a vacation week and spend time with the hubby.

  2. Summer Questions:
    1. Best Childhood memory is that every summer I would go up into the mountains and live with my aunt's family (no electricity and pump water) to live on her small farm. I grew up a girl in the 'Burbs so this was a treat- caring for the animals, working the orchard and garden, berry picking, spending all day outside far away from everything surrounded by mountain forests, streams, and big sky of stars at night.

    2. Summer song- 'Summertime Blues' because its fun and nostalgic.

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity, Velvet!

Yay! I haven't read any of those, but I would love to read The Fill In Boyfriend, Forbidden, The Kingdom Within and The Looney Experiment.

  3. Summer By Summer would be a wonderful book to read this summer.
    1. My best childhood summer memory was when we drove to a lake in the country for a week with the family and fished, swam, enjoyed this simple and beautiful setting.
    6. A song which is my favorite for summer is Palisades Park since i grew up in the 50's, pine for that era, appreciated those memorable songs and miss that time.
    7. If I could hop on a plane I would go the a Florida beach which I love.
Thanks for this great feature, wonderful post and giveaway which is the best. saubleb(at)gmail(dot)com

  4. 7. If I could hop on a plane and go anywhere right now? I'm so torn....I would love to take advantage of a free trip and go someplace exotic/far away like ireland or africa. But I also have had a REALLY bad start to this summer...so a big part of me wants to go back east and see my friends.

    8. Summer date ideas? Out here? Anything involving air conditioning! lol. But seriously I have one that's really fun and romantic. I like to wait til it's finally dark out and then go to a local park or someplace were you can just look up and see the sky. There's lots of places near me where you don't have manmade light polution, so you can see ALL the stars. And since it's night time it's not 100 degrees, yet it's summer so it isn't freezing cold either.

Oh and I'd like to see any of the books in the box if I win! They all look great!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

Love the way you lie always reminds me of summer. During one of the best summers, that song was played a billion times.

  6. 1. It would probably going to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Florida with my softball team. The rides were amazing!

    2. Win a Softball tournament, read four books, go to a waterpark, and have a picnic

    3. I'm not a blogger but I do have an Instagram account that I try to keep up with. Whenever I don't feel like posting I change my theme! If my account looks new and pretty to me, then I feel much more inclined to make to posts.

    4. This may sound stupid but I love Shrek! It's my favorite movie! I love to watch it in the summer

    5. Play Softball

    6. Everybody Talks by Neon Trees. The first time I heard it I was at the beach and that's what I think about when I hear it now

    7. Well I've been to the beach in Florida and North Carolina several times, so I would want to go somewhere different. I have always wanted to go to Alaska to see the northern lights!

    8. Carnival, Drive -in, and 4th of July Fireworks! So romantic!

    9. We All Looked Up doesn't have anything to do with the beach but I read it on my last trip to florida and I really enjoyed it!

    10. Be ready to go back to school? That sounds lame but its the truth...

I have already read All the Bright Places but I don't have a copy of it, I would love to have one! Also I have been wanting to read Paperweight and Don't Ever Change. Thanks so much for this awesome giveaway!! My email is Softball.wiz.11@gmail.com

  7. 5. One thing I have to do every summer is camp. Nothing completes a summer like a weekend without showers, roughing it with friends and family, and roasting hotdogs while you tell spooky stories.

    7. If I could hop on a plane and go anywhere right now it'd be Paris. Even though I've been there there was so much more to explore. Plus, I want to relive the memories, the moments, and feel the excitement all over again.

I loved All the Bright Places, and while I'd be tickled to own that book, I'd also love to read Paperweight and Pretty Baby.

  8. 6. What song always makes you think of summer and why? My Sweet Summer by the Dirty Heads. I love the Dirty Heads and the beat just makes me want to lay in the sand forever.

    7. If you could hop on a plane and go anywhere right now where would you go? I would go to Paris, or New York, as those are two of my favorite cities in the world.

I would love to see All The Bright Places and Paperweight in my inbox. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  9. 1. Every year for a couple of years in a row we would go to Ocean City New Jersey. One year there was a huge thunderstorm and I was caught on the boardwalk. I remember huddling with a couple of other people and watching the lightening hit the ocean. It was magnificent to see.

    4. Jaws!!!.

    5. Go to the Jersey shore! And no it is not like what you see on that horrible TV show

    6. Summertime by Fresh Prince....I think the reasons are obvious :)

    7. Vegas! haven't been there since hubby and I went there to get married. 10 years ago this October

    8. Go down the shore and spend the night on the boardwalk in the arcades, eating boardwalk fries and ice cream and watching the sunset over the ocean.

Honestly, I'd love any of them!
