Current happy things:

2. YouTube episode clips of At Home with Amy Sedaris

  1. Jane and the 12 Days sounds like a lot of fun, I remember seeing that one at the bookstore and thinking it looked really good. Perfect time of year too!

  3. I work in a small office and gift giving is completely optional. I didn't get books or a gift card but I got some food which is just as welcome. That Christmas Ballet looks lovely. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy all of your new books!

  4. I love reading mysteries in winter while cozied up by the fire in the evenings. Hope yours continues to be good.
Ah, the Stephanie Barron Jane Austen mysteries are great. And great idea to take the antho one per month. I've done that with several boxed sets and anthologies that are larger.
Cute play idea. I've gone to a few downtown over the years and loved the fun atmosphere.
And wow, did I get a lovely stack of cards today so I'm right there with you on adoring the holiday and Christmas cards.

    Merry Christmas, Velvet!

  6. I have actually been given an Amazon gift card once at my work, and where we live it can ONLY be used for books, basically :D I was very happy, lol.
Anyway, have a great Christmas :)
