Happy Halloween

May the candy be plentiful ;-)

I am READING this for the occasion...

Stalking Jack the Ripper
by Kerri Maniscalco
-Historical, Mystery, YA
Amazon | Goodreads

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Rose Wadsworth was born a lord's daughter, with a life of wealth and privilege stretched out before her. But between the social teas and silk dress fittings, she leads a forbidden secret life.

Against her stern father's wishes and society's expectations, Audrey often slips away to her uncle's laboratory to study the gruesome practice of forensic medicine. When her work on a string of savagely killed corpses drags Audrey into the investigation of a serial murderer, her search for answers brings her close to her own sheltered world.

The story's shocking twists and turns, augmented with real, sinister period photos, will make this dazzling, #1 New York Times bestselling debut from author Kerri Maniscalco impossible to forget.

WATCHING a couple episodes from this...

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997)
-Action, Drama, Fantasy | imdb

HOW are you spending Halloween?

  1. [We need a candy corn icon]
    Happy Halloween to All <3
We will be having pizza, shoving chocolate down our throats like it's going out of style, and watching whatever horror/spooky flicks the kids find on Vudu!

  2. That works! I'm watching Warm Bodies and have brownies since I gave away all the candy- more than I expected came out. I'll have to stock up on the after-Halloween sale. ;)

  3. Our town had trick-or-treat Saturday night so last night was pretty low-key. We caught up on the season ending of "The Strain" and then I read a tad bit. We have quite a bit of candy left, but my fave, Giant gummy lifesavers, are mostly gone. Glad you had a wonderful holiday!
