=====> LOVED it! I laughed, cried, boo-ed and cheered. FYI: this is currently a hit in China. I fell in love with this and watched it twice! Can't wait to get the DVD.

AND watched: on DVD

-Action, Adventure, Thriller | imdb | list | my rating: 5

Investigating a gold magnate's smuggling, James Bond uncovers a plot to contaminate the Fort Knox gold reserve.

=====> Continuing to work through all the Bond films (here). Can't help laughing at the character name, Pussy Galore.

Two wealthy step-siblings of an elite Manhattan prep school make a wager: to de-flower the new headmaster's daughter before the start of term.

=====> Great re-make set in modern day. I mostly wanted to see Ryan and Reese acting together. Loved them.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
Director: David Fincher
Screenplay: Steven Zaillian
Based on book: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
Starring: Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Christopher Plummer
-Crime, Drama, Mystery | imdb | my rating: 5

Journalist Mikael Blomkvist is aided in his search for a woman who has been missing for forty years by Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker.

=====> I saw the 2009 version with Noomi Rapace which was good. But, I wanted to see this version after watching Rooney Mara in Carol to see how she portrayed the Lisbeth character. She nailed it just like Noomi.

Also, wanted to watch this before reading The Girl in the Spider's Web (Millennium, #4) by David Lagercrantz as a movie version of it is in the making as well. If I can get it, I will watch the tv series, Millenium (2010) that continues the story of Lisbeth and Mikael.

Insurgent (2015)
Director: Robert Schwentke
Screenplay: Brian Duffield, Akiva Goldsman, Mark Bomback
Based on book: Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Starring: Shailene Woodley, Theo James
-Adventure, Sci-Fi, Thriller | imdb | my rating: 5

Beatrice Prior (Tris) must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart with the help from others on her side.

=====> Wanted to get ready for Allegiant due out March 18! I was pleasantly surprised that I liked this better than Divergent. The special effects and action sequences were good.
