  1. I've read everything Agatha Christie and watched some shows on PBS but now I'm getting some of the audio books. I like Jennifer Chiaveriani books too. I'm glad the smoke has stopped being so much an issue. It's been cooler here so I've started walking some days with Lulu.

  2. Yay for being smoke-free! I'm in Portland and we're smoke free as well. It's been nice to get back outside for walks this weekend. I love snail mail as well! Enjoy your week!

  3. I'm so glad you are smoke-free in San Francisco! That's great news. I don't remember if I read Death on the Nile, but now I have to check. I should go back to reading some Agatha books. Hope you have a great week and enjoy your books.

  4. Delighted to see that the air quality has improved so much in San Francisco - the pics of that earlier in the week looked apocalyptic. I hope you get a chance to enjoy the outdoors again - and that this is a better week:)

  5. Yay for smoke free! Walks outside are the best, and it helps being able to breathe.

  6. I saw your comment on Gofita's Pages and I thought to myself, "I haven't visited her blog in a LONG time!" So, here I am. Hoping to stop by more often. Hope you are doing well. The Christmas Boutique looks wonderful. Gorgeous cover!

  8. I’m glad your smoky air is going away! We still have it here. When I run, I cough so much I’m worried that people think I have COVID. Have a great week!

  10. I'm soooo happy the smoke is finally starting to clear! I was in East Bay SF Thursday-Sunday (my daughter lives in Alamo and we're up there about every other weekend) and I was thrilled to see the hills without the ugly smoke. Not to mention how unhealthy the air is for outdoor activities. I love to hike up there.

I'm starting to re-read Agatha Christie by audios. I've read most of her books over and over, but it's many years. I have a print copy of just about every one. Hope you enjoy Death on the Nile. Have a great week! :)

  11. Yay for cleaner air for you so you can get out. Love that there is a Persuasion play. Fun that you're doing an Agatha Christie listen. I've been on an Agatha Christie audio kick, too.

  12. So glad to hear that the air is cleaner now. Almost everyone around the world has been horrified by the images for sure and how apocalyptic it all felt.

I'm looking forward to reading the new Ayad Akhtar book. I had mixed feelings with his previous one but am very curious about this new one.

Did you listen to the Agatha Christie mystery in celebration of her birthday last week? Nice book haul this week!
