-Crime, Drama | imdb | my rating: 5

Wanda, a lonely housewife, drifts through mining country until she meets a petty thief who takes her in.

A lost soul. I found that Wanda is one of those characters I wanted to continue to follow despite her aimless walk through life.

Thanks for stopping by :-)

  1. That coffee passport book sounds genius. Looks like you have some good books to enjoy.

  2. Ooh the coffee thing sounds cool! And I love New Yorker artwork.

  3. I recently saw a great review for The Cactus, I hope you enjoy it.

    Have a great reading week

  4. I am waiting for my audiobook hold of Daisy Jones and the Six from the Library but finally got Where the Crawdads Sing from them, so it's all good while I Now I am very interested in hearing about the San Francisco Coffee Passport!

  5. The coffee voucher sounds like a real bargain, especially as you get to try out several different cafes too!

I like the sound of the film 'Wanda' but that would definitely one to be watched alone, as it is not hubbie's cup of tea at all.

Reading the Goodreads premise for 'Someday We Will Fly' kind of gave away the story and how Shanghai fits into it all, an aspect of WWII I knew nothing about! Definitely one I might consider for my own list, thanks for sharing.

    Have a good week :)

    Yvonne xx

  6. Oh Yes! I want a coffee passport. Someday We Will Fly interests me. I read a book that was partly set in Shanghai in WWII and it was quite sad how everyone was treated.

  7. The Coffee Passport sure sounds interesting. I will be interested in your coffee journeys. :-)
Someday We Will Fly sounds like it might be difficult to read...but interesting.
    Happy Reading!
