  1. A better question for me would be "What is NOT your favourite cake?" as I've me very few that I don't like! Which is why my waistline is the size it is.

I'm quite fond of a nice moist carrot cake with a cream cheese topping but at this time of year, it has to be a slice of rich fruit cake (no marzipan or icing) served with a slice of Wensleydale cheese on top. You may think it sounds weird. I did to when I first came to Yorkshire but it tastes sublime when you bite into the two layers and chew it all together.

  2. Happy Birthday, Jane!

Oh Mr. Darcy, that would be Spice Cake or Chocolate Cake. :)

  3. It's amazing to realize that Jane's birthday was 241 years ago, yet her work remains timeless & popular as ever! <3

Cake? CAKE, you say ... why, I've never met a cake I didn't like. My favorite being a Texas sheet cake baked in a 9x13 instead of a sheet pan, as it is thicker and even more unbelievably delicious (we need a drool emoti) :D
