My two-bits:
In-a-word(s): red pumas
I enjoyed this mystery of a sleuth in-the-makings. It included elements near and dear to me like Sherlock Holmes, Alice in Wonderland, theatre, small town, and young flickerings of romance.

Great start to a mystery series. I'm looking forward to reading the next book to see how this young sleuth develops.
