The Dark Days Club
(Lady Helen, #1)
by Alison Goodman
-Historical, Steampunk, YA

=====> The old-timey whimsical look of this title suggests it could be a fun read.

Fates and Furies
by Lauren Groff
-Literary Fiction
Release date: September 15, 2015

=====> This title is huge and is slightly covered by the feathers, waves, swirly stuff which makes me curious.

The Art of Crash Landing
by Melissa DeCarlo
-Women's Fiction
Release date: September 8, 2015

=====> The disruption in the otherwise perfectly aligned letters surely makes a statement. The way the eye is drawn downward does not bode well.

Academy Girls
by Nora Carroll

=====> I am always drawn to a typewriter font.

Come Hell or Highball
(Discreet Retrieval Agency #1)

=====> This title exudes that stylish art deco look that calls to the inner fashion self.

  1. I like the variety of your choices. I have come to associate font with certain authors and genres. This is good b/c my near distance sight is getting as bad as my distance sight so I rely on such cues to spot them across the book store. :)
