Sometimes death is just the beginning...

It just figures that the love of Lindsey Water's life isn't alive at all, but the grim reaper, complete with a dimpled smile and Scottish accent.

After transporting souls to heaven for the last 300 years, Aiden MacRae has all but given up on finding the one whose love will redeem him and allow him entry through the pearly gates.

Torn between her growing attraction to Aiden and heaven's siren song, Lindsey must learn the hard way whether love really can transcend all boundaries.

Amusing quote:
I suddenly remembered the saying that Scots don't wear anything under their kilts and pushed back a crazy impulse to see for myself.
- location 203, chapter 3

My two-bits:
In-a-word(s): girlish glee
Sweet romance with scenes that jump into the history of each character from 300 years ago to not-too-distant past to present to a-sort-of-limbo.

  1. I need to get this book! I saw the book today at 3rd Place Books, but I had to say no, I already had spent too much money.

  2. lol
Oh, that amusing *kilt* quote is cute!

As an aside, I've noticed these grim reaper/angel/demon/vampires/werewolves etc etc fellows who have been searching for eons to find the ONE true love who can *save/redeem/solve* whatever their stupid problem is, seem to ONLY find a rescuer-type gal who is like a zillion years younger than they are and has the IQ of Jell-O.

    What about us middle-aged gals?

O wait. I bet WE get the rotten decayed crumbling zombie guy with the heart of gold. Bleh. ;P
