Oh the women were very angry - its quite an "alarming" scene actually, depicting the very harsh laws against women who committed adultery in the early 18th century.
ReplyDeleteIt was quite a difficult scene to write, as I had to get the balance right between the reality of the law of the time with the surging emotions of my characters. I think I pulled it off....
