Description from the amazon:
Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces.

Is love a great enough power against evil?

My two-bits:
In-a-word(s): love
This was a sweet and gentle read. A very innocent young angel learns the ways of humans from a teen perspective. The day-to-day life of a teen works through most of the book and then the dark character, Jake, comes into the scene to wreak a little (just a little) havoc.

Romantic quote:
A man in love can do extraordinary things, Xavier said. I don't care if you're an angel, you're my angel and I won't let you go.
- chapter 27, page 412

Zombie sighting:
The ten-minute ride down to town was refreshing after my zombielike sleep.
- chapter 8, page 104
